Synthesis of ketone from potassium organotrifluoroborates and benzoyl bromide/chloride

The introduction of benzoyl bromide/chloride with potassium organotrifluoroborates in the presence of Lewis acid catalyst was examined. This new results and their mechanism will be discussed.
