Direct α-alkynylation of unstablized ketone

All carbon quaternary stereocenters, i.e. carbon atoms bearing four different carbon substituents, pose a particular challenge in organic synthesis. Recently, we developed novel reaction for direct alkynylation, which provided straightforward access to alkyn-substituted ketones.
