| Since the palladium(0)-catalyzed cross-coupling reaction of bis (pinacolato)diboron with haloarenes was reported by Prof. Miyaura et al., this type of reaction has been widely used because of its usefulness and effectiveness. Recently, it has been reported that the choice of ligands, and application of microwave were effective for this type of reaction, but, to the best of our knowledge, advanced study regarding the “base” in the reaction has not been reported. From this standpoint, we focused our research on finding a newly “effective base” in the palladium(0)-catalyzed cross-coupling reaction. The results of this study will be presented. |
