Amination of organostannane reagents with hydroxylamine derivatives in the presence of stoichiometric copper is studied. A Cu (I) diphenylphosphinate (CuDPP) mediated amidation of organostannane with O-substituted hydroxamic acid gives amide as desired C-N bond formation product. Various amides can be synthesized from O-acetyl hydroxamic acids in good yields.
