Ring opening-closing metathesis of 7-azanorbornene and the applications in the studies of total synthesis toward rostratins

Rostratins (A-D) were isolated by Fenical group. In this poster, we describe methodology – ring opening and closing metathesis of 7-azanorbornenes to generate the core structure of the rostratins as well as further studies targeting their total synthesis.
