| The materials of composition BC6N and BC2N were prepared at 1370~2070K by CVD method using nitrile and boron trichloride. The materials showed the graphite-like layered structure. Electrochemical intercalation of Li into the materials were studied in 1M-LiPF6/EC+DEC (50vol.%) solution by using 3 electrode cell. Cyclic voltammogram (CV) of the BC6N prepared at 2070K showed 3 reduction peaks (1.3V, 0.7V, 0.0V vs. Li/Li+) on first cycle. On the other hand, the BC2N prepared at 2070K showed a CV having reduction peaks (1.5V, 0.7V, 0.0V vs. Li/Li+) on first cycle. The reduction peak at higher potential for BC2N (1.5V) than that for BC6N (1.3V) could be explained by the electronic states of the materials. |
