Enantioselective organocatalytic Michael addition of N-heterocycles to nitroolefins and enones

The first organocatalyzed Michael addition of N-heterocycles to nitroolefins and enones has been developed. The processes are promoted by cinchona alkaloid derivatives with good yields and moderate to good enantioselectivities.
