N-Heterocyclic carbene copper(I) complexes as versatile catalysts in organic synthesis

The catalytic activities of different families of copper(I) complexes will be presented. These air- and moisture-stable complexes have been successfully used in hydrosilylation of carbonyl compounds, diazo carbene insertion or cycloaddition reactions.
