| Carbon-carbon bond-forming reactions represent the most important processes in organic synthesis. Among the numerous methods for carbon-carbon bond formation, palladium-catalyzed transformations have come to play a leading role. We have exploited the synthetic utility of Cosford protocol for the synthesis of various natural products containing 5,6-dihydro-2H-pyran-2-one moiety. This presentation will describe the synthesis of few natural products containing 5,6-dihydro-2H-pyran-2-one moiety. |
