Herein we designed a novel type of prodrug - feedback inhibition prodrug. It may be cleaved by an enzyme, and the released drug after decomposition will feedback inhibit this enzyme to depress or stop the cleavage process, which is similar with feedback inhibition process in natural biological system. In this work, a synthesized feedback prodrug may selectively target mannosidase.
