The investigation of electron spin pairing in organometallic redox moieties will be introduced. Syntheses of silicon-linked ferrocenyl redox assemblies, along with measurements of their electrochemical response, and magnetic properties will be presented. Results show the silane linkage to be a strong ferromagnetic coupling unit between electron spins. The assemblies of this study are designed for investigation of how different conformational and configurational environments effect intramolecular spin alignment.
