| Supramolecular polymers have emerged as exciting and powerful tools utilized in the creation of new, responsive materials. By creating a dynamic combinatorial library of supramolecular materials, we hope to achieve a new level of control in the "tunability" of these compounds. Using olefin cross-metathesis, we have explored the creation of dynamic libraries of self-complimentary hydrogen bond donor-acceptor compounds. Various conditions were examined, including template identity, donor-acceptor patterns, solvent choice, and concentration. |
