From superacids to superelectrophiles in hydrocarbon chemistry

Recent advances in superacid catalysed reactions of hydrocarbons involving highly reactive superelectrophilic reagent systems will be presented including alkylation, isomerization, condensation, acylation, carbonylation, nitration, and halogenation. Synthetic and mechanistic aspects will be discussed.
