Supported reagents have been used in multi-step synthesis for the fast and efficient generations of arylcarboxamides which are frequently serve as key pharmacophoric elements in drugs. Diverse arylcarboxamides were prepared, starting with amide synthesis using supported-carbodiimide in microwave assisted synthesis, followed by formation of aryl-aryl bonds using supported-Pd combined with microwave heating and finally removal of acid sensitive protecting group by TFA. Fast purification was achieved using bonded tetramethylammonium carbonate to scavenge excess carboxylic, boronic and trifluoroacetic acid at different steps of synthesis.
