Synthesis and thermolysis of fluorene substituted (z)-enynes: Lessons learned

Cyclization reactions of fluorene-substituted enynes with Fischer carbene complexes led to the formation of two regioisomeric benzannulated products. The mechanistic picture of this unusual cyclization pathways is clear and would be presented in some detailed.
