Novel porphyrin-fullerene dyads

In an attempt to investigate photoinduced electron transfer and photovoltaic properties two porphyrin(donor)-fullerene(acceptor) dyads 1 and 2 were synthesized and characterized by NMR(1H, 13C), FT-IR, UV/Vis and MALDI-TOF Mass. In addition electrochemical properties of the two dyads were obtained and compared by cyclic voltammetry.
