A key factor in the prosperity of any company is successful management of the product life cycle. As old products die, new products must be brought to market. During the last ten years, Albemarle has commercialized several new organometallic products. This paper will discuss the principles used at Albemarle Corporation to bring new organometallics products to market as well as the corporate capabilities upon which the corporation draws to foster sustainable growth.
