Convenient microwave-assisted organic synthesis of 1,3,5-triarylobenzenes by cyclotrimerization of in situ formed enaminones

A microwave-assisted one-pot procedure for the two-step synthesis of 1,3,5-triarylobenzenes from aryl ketones is described. The final products were purified by use of an automated flash chromatography system.
