Optically active cyclopalladated compounds have a number of important properties and applications. Our research effort has been recently focused on synthesis and applications of chiral oxazoline-derived palladacycles. In the literature, different types of palladacycles have been reported for imines and oxazolines, however complexes with the (sp3)C-Pd bond are very rare. Here we present our data on preparation of unprecedented exo- and unique endo-palladacycles having the (sp3)C-Pd bond. A detailed spectral (NMR, IR, and CD) characterization and X-ray data are reported.
