D9-THC (tetrahydrocannabinol, 1) is the major psychoactive constituent of marijuana. Radiolabeled and fluorescent THC analogs were synthesized stereoselectively. The labeled analogs will provide a powerful tool for the study of the affinity between THC and anti-THC antibodies, and for high-throughput selection of antibodies against THC as well.
