| Asymmetric Hydrogenation is a dominant method (over 70%) in chemocatalysis for making chiral products. Our group have developed many effective chiral phosphine ligands for asymmetric hydrogenation of ketones, imines and alkenes. Some of these ligands are benchmark systems, offerring high ee's, turnovers and unprecedented results for some substrates. These ligands include TangPhos, DuanPhos, Binapine, BINAPHANE, f-BINAPHANE, CnTunePhos (n = 1-6), ketalPhos, f-KetalPhos, o-BINAPO, o-BIPHEP, o-BINAPHOS, T-PHOS, DIOP* and New PN ligands. Selected examples will be discussed to illustrate practical applications of these ligands. |
