| Rigid-rod sensitizers with two chromophores were prepared as new dichromophoric sensitizers to study electron injection processes at the interface of TiO2 nanoparticles. Such molecules are expected to be more efficient for the sensitization process and the solar cells preparation. The synthesis and their photophysical properties will be discussed and compared with those of monochromophoric rigid-rod and tripod molecules, which we described earlier. |
