Suzuki-Miyaura cross coupling reactions involving arylarene sulfonates have begun to receive attention due to their ready availability and economy considerations. We have shown that 2’-deoxyguanosine O⁶-arylsulfonates are excellent partners in C-C bond forming reactions at elevated temperature. Presented herein are our initial results on the Suzuki-Miyaura cross coupling of 2’-deoxyguanosine O⁶-arylsulfonates with aryl boronic acids at room temperature.
