Desymmetrization strategies to P-chiral compounds

Desymmetrization strategies to P-chiral compounds employing transition-metal catalyzed processes will be reported. A variety of strategies utilizing substrate-controlled transformations have been developed. Working models have been elucidated that allow for accurate predictions of P-chirality.
