Cross coupling reactions of acetylene compounds have historically been sought after as a method to form cage compounds and natural products.  In the past, this transformation has been plagued by contamination of the product caused by self coupling of the acetylene reagents.  This poster looks at the use of indium metal to aid in the promotion of cross coupling of acetylene reagents under mild conditions.
