The use of polymer supported reagents as scavengers has been well demonstrated as an effective tool in organic synthesis. The use of polymer supported thiol resins have been shown to be effective as palladium scavenging reagent. We report here two new thiol resins for use as palladium scavengers. The synthesis and evaluation of these two new polymer supported thiol resins will be presented.
