| The nickel-catalyzed cross-coupling reactions of neopentyl arenesulfonates with arylmagnesium bromides, involving the nucleophilic aromatic substitution of alkyloxysulfonyl groups by aryl nucleophiles, take place in high yields. The effect of varying the alkyl moiety is investigated. The introduction of di-, tri-, and tetraol for alkyl moiety will be also discussed. |
