| The nickel-catalyzed cross-coupling reactions of polymer-bound stilbenesulfonates with various arylmagnesium bromides produce asymmetric stilbene derivatives in good yields. Polymer-bound stilbenesulfonates are prepared by the consecutive Suzuki-Miyaura reaction and Horner-Wadsworth-Emmons reaction of polymer-bound bromobenzenesulfonates. |
