| Developments of new and novel organic transformations which can be carried out under environmentally friendly conditions are well sought-after. Recently, this area has attracted great attention and received much recognition. A lot of effects have been put on this area due to the many economical, as well as environmental advantages. We believe that green chemistry will become a great and important evolution in organic chemistry. Therefore, we are interested in water-based organic reactions as well as organic reactions under solvent-free conditions. In this presentation, a new strategy of using recycled catalyst for organic reactions in water was introduced. We would also present some of our recent works in the asymmetric Mannich-type reaction in both methanol and ionic liquids. |
