The increasing pace of pharmaceutical discovery is creating a corresponding increase in the speed of all aspects of pharmaceutical development. Many approaches to rapid pharmaceutical development rely on the central science of chromatography. In this presentation, chromatographic approaches to high-throughput process research will be described, including the use of method development robots, high throughput LC-MS screening, and purification using preparative SFC and HPLC.
