| Pharmaceutical process chemistry provides a unique opportunity for the technical organic chemist. Projects provide new and ever changing personal challenges, which include significant research components typically followed by large-scale exemplification of research discoveries. The impact made is directly measurable and can be terrific, but there does exist a requirement for significant personal responsibility and accountability. Examples of pharmaceutical technical organic chemistry and Green Chemistry will be discussed. |
