This talk will cover process development issues to prepare aryl boronic acids and use them successfully with iodooxazole in a Pd-mediated Suzuki coupling reaction to assemble the biaryl moiety of an endothelin receptor antagonist. Practical approaches to remove palladium and isolate the penultimate intermediate will be discussed.
