| The preparation of a variety of stable C-saccharide type structures through the use of an esterification-RCM and cross-metathesis approach will be discussed. Convergent syntheses of a variety of C-Saccharides and C-glucoglycerolipids will be described, as well as work on the functionalization and further elaboration of these products as it applies to specific targets. |
